Kantek was founded in 1982 by Herman Kappel, President and CEO, who drew on his extensive design and product development skills as a research engineer to launch his ambitious new venture. Back then, Kantek was very much an industry pioneer. As one of the first manufacturers of Anti-Glare filters for personal computers, we helped set the standard for a whole new business. Our commitment to product quality and innovation that served as the foundation for the company’s early growth continues strong today.

Our product mix has come a long way since those early days. In addition to Anti-Glare and Privacy filters, Kantek today offers Desk Accessories, Monitor and Printer stands, Computer Cases, Luggage Carts, Health Care Dispensers and a broad range of ergonomic products.
